i'm searching to obtain a crossbow for christmas and have no idea witch someone to get i'm searching in a barnett ghost 350 along with a tenpoint titan hlx ...the barnett has good reviews and it has 350fps wich is nice plus is realy lite wich is essential because i'm 13 the tenpoint has good reviews and that i often hear the company is among the more reccomended it is simply 300fps wich i'm iffy about i love the barnnet since it has more fps and also the tenpoint is even lighter i realy only such as the barnett better since it has more fps so help i'm confused also please reccomend more crossbows

Opt for the Barnett. Because of the heavier arrows that crossbows shoot, the underside drops from the arrow fairly fast when the arrow isn't moving in a good rate of speed. You will become more happy with the extra speed the Barnett Ghost will deliver.

As well as the Ghost is made while using latest carbon technology. You are likely to like it.

How to prevent dry firing a crossbow?

I simply bought a brand new Horton Summit Crossbow and i'm conscious that dry firing is really a large "no, no." My real question is: how can release my crossbow if it's prepared to fire and that i don't need to fire (following a day's hunting possibly)?

you have to fire it to safley unload it. Should you shoot in a stump or more you'll likley loose your bolt. And also the other guy meant blunt tip

Could it be legal to possess a crossbow in New York, or perhaps is it simply illegal to search large game in NC?

I've got a 50lb crossbow, from things i understand, this can be a toy, and so i want something bigger, say 100-180lb. Since I am not disabled I have to determine if I'm able to seafood by using it, and search squirrels, bunnies, and the like. I believe that large game hunting is against the law. Any info you are able to give is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Bowfishing is fixed by dates and species and fishing bow, not mix bow.

Other uses are for normal bow seasons and game however for use by individuals handicapped in a fashion that they might still utilize it securely but could not use regular bow.
